Lee Valley Estates is the trading name used by the companies listed below, the first of which was established in 1987. In the last 21 years we have accumulated assets in excess of £100M under ownership and management. We have a strong asset base and our gearing is low. Approximately 50 per cent of the land currently owned has alternative value potential for mixed-use schemes.
We are involved in the £400M Hale Village development which will comprise 1,200 residential properties and 700 student units, as well as a wide range of community and leisure facilities. Plans include a head office building, school, health centre, restaurants, retail and a 130 room hotel.
We are developing the Clockworks project which will provide 50 studio units for the YMCA and 9 commercial studios.
In addition we purchased the Glassworks Business Park which is a 4 acre site to add to our industrial portfolio.
Also we were granted planning consent from Waltham Forest Council in March 2008 to refurbish and improve their Leyton Municipal Offices in order to create a business centre, 49 homes, restaurant, and a restored Great Hall for hire.
