Enfield Police thank charity RSA Trust for donation of two bikes
1st September 2009

RSA Trust thanked by Met Police

The Metropolitan Police thanked our charity the RSA Trust on the front page of their September 2009 Enfield Lock Safer Neighbourhood Team Newsletter, for our donation of two bikes.

The article reads as follows:

On your bike!

We would like to say a big thank you to Gary Walker, the chairman of the Royal Small Arms Trust as well as other trustees who kindly donated two bikes to our team.  These bikes will only work to our advantage and will enable our patrolling of Enfield Lock to be more efficient and to therefore allow us to achieve more things.  These bikes are a way of enabling our team to address your concerns and will allow some of you to be comforted by their presence.  So, on behalf of the Enfield Lock Safer Neighbourhoods and the whole of the Metropolitan Police Service we want to say a big thank you.

PSCO Suzy Tether said

"I have been patrolling Enfield Island Village for over two years so have known Gary Walker and the work carried out by the RSA Trust for a while.  They have always supported . . . and have always encouraged us to make contact with them in any way if it will benefit the residents that live here".
