Hale Village event opened by Richard Blakeway

Hale Village was visited by Mayoral Housing Advisor Richard Blakeway on Tuesday 10 November.  He officially opened Emily Bowes Court, a new home to 687 students at Hale Village.

Emily Bowes Court, the first building completed at Hale Village in north London was developed in partnership with  UNITE, the UK's leading provider of student accommodation and Lee Valley Estates.

Richard Blakeway said:

"London is a fanastically vibrant student city.  With a further 17,000 students expected to move to London over the next four years, we need to improve the provisions for decent, purpose-built student accommodation in the capital.  Emily Bowes Court is welcome new development that ticks all the boxes for a successful student life in London, giving students the opportunity to live in quality accommodation with excellent transport links to the city centre".
